Sony Xperia Z has rounded edges with silky smooth and reflective exterior on both sides since it is made of glass. It is closest to the slimmest phone ever created which measure 7.9mm. It has dust and water resistant that is certified. It can go deeper than 1 meter of water unlike any other phones. The shatter proof and the scratch-resistant glass from both front and back are one of the best assets of this phone.

Pros

It has great resolution due to its 3D Engine at FullHD resolution. It is also less reflective so you will not have any problems using your phone in bright sunlight. The greatest protection this phone has to offer is that it is dust, dirt and water resistant.

 

Cons

There is a viewing angle issue with this phone. The contrast is very poor and the colors are not exciting. Although, it has great battery performance, it is hard to remove or change the battery. You will have to visit their service to have it removed so as not to damage and void the warranty. Most of all, it does not have the latest Android version.

 

Warranty

Sony’s limited warranty will last for 2 years from the original date it was purchased. 1 year warranty is for the original accessories like battery, charger and other hands-free items that come when the product was purchased. If in case the Sony service partners find out that the damage was due to mishandling the phone, the user will be charged by the service partners.

 

Conclusion

At the end of the day, whether you choose Sony Xperia Z or any other phones, it all comes down to personal taste. Even with its disadvantages, this phone has enough charm to compete with its other rivals in the market. This makes the consumers excited on what Sony can create next.
