Samsung Galaxy Rush (Boost Mobile)
Samsung Galaxy Rush (Boost Mobile) is one of the cheapest smartphone offerings in the market. The inexpensive pricing plan that starts at $55 per month is very attractive for people who are tight on their budget. The phone offers decent features like Android app, 3.5 inch screen, 3MP camera and 3G network. Although it is not the best high-end phone in the market, it is a good start if you want to grab the opportunity of owning a smartphone.
Design
Galaxy Rush is light enough but thicker than other rivals in the market. The body is made from shiny plastic material, the battery is covered with faux metal and there is a faux silver band around the middle part. The left side panel houses the microSD card slot. From the exterior alone, you will say that you only get what you have paid for.
The performance of the unit is fairly good. The processor is powerful enough to support basic actions. The call quality is not the best but loud enough for outdoor use. The battery has an average life with 7 hours of talk time. The smartphone uses Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which supports several games and applications.

Pros
Samsung Galaxy Rush gives a good quality call. With the 1.3 MP front-facing camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, video chatting and gaming sessions are possible. Overall, the design is reasonably nice.
Cons
The performance of the phone is not consistent. The poor and slow processor does not allow multitasking. For this reason, you should think twice if you are the type of person who loves doing several things at the same time. The 3.5 inches TFT LCD comes at a very low resolution of only 480 x 320 pixels, one of the lowest for a smartphone. Text and images look jagged, dim and dull. You cannot rely on the camera as well if you want to capture important moments. The photo quality is poor. Samsung Galaxy Rush does not support 4G LTE which is not good for people who want to be always connected. Unlike other Samsung units, many reviewers will say that it has a cheap look and feel.
Conclusion
Samsung Galaxy Rush (Boost Mobile) is a cheap way to enjoy the features of a smartphone. The petite package and the Android apps are nice for you and your wallet. Unlike other budget phones that lack a front facing camera, this one has it. But unfortunately, the unit does not have it all. In fact, the low price comes at cost of its own. The not-so-elegant look and feel and middling performance will remind you that what you have is a budget phone. Although not a terrible choice, it is a bargain that you should grab if you want to throw away your old phone and start using smartphones.
