Design

The new smartphone Nokia N9 measures 3.9” with AMOLED capacitive touch screen with a rounded design on the edges. It comes with different colors like Black, Cyan and Magenta. The design is just like an apple iPhone but the operating system uses MeeGo.

With a single swipe to the phone, the user can immediately go back to its home screen. It also has 3 home views which permit the users to easily access the applications, check the notifications and look for the updates from any social networking sites.

Pros

With its simple interface, anyone can use Nokia N9. It has a Meego user interface which makes it easier to use compared to Android operated phones. It has a better camera which has dual LED flash making your pictures more true to life and has better resolution. The storage space is incredible which is 16GB and 64GB. No other smartphone boosts itself with that immense storage space. It has higher pixels making the display visible even if it is exposed to direct sunlight.

 

Cons

For those wanting to expand the memory space, the phone does not have a microSD slot. The new Meego operating system is not as stable and there are not a lot of choices of applications compared to Android. There is no specific button for the camera so you really have to go to the system before you can use it. The Bluetooth version offered is not the latest which is just the 2.1 version.

 

Warranty

Nokia Lumia offers Limited Warranty to its users which start immediately after buying. You are assured of 1 year warranty for the units and the accessories, 6 months for the batteries and other consumable accessories and 90 days for the software. Please make sure that you do not lose your receipts as those are needed when claiming for the warranty.

Overall Nokia N9 is the most luxurious phone Nokia has created. The appearance is nice and the performance is great. The immense memory storage plus the quick camera gives it an edge to the other smartphones out there.
