Although, it is not as luxurious and elegant as the Lumia 1020 or the 920 series, the phone is also equipped with better features and additional applications that are very functional.

 

Design

Nokia Lumia 720 is designed to be a durable and high quality phone even when it is categorized as mid-range phone. The body is made of polycarbonate which gives it a tougher look but comfortable to carry and use. As it is one of the thinnest and lightest phones, it can be easily placed inside your pocket. The touch screen is protected by Corning Gorilla glass which makes it scratch-free. There are buttons on one side for the convenience of using one hand while adjusting or maneuvering it. The volume, the power, and the camera shutter can be seen all together.

Pros

Nokia Lumia 720 is the thinnest and the lightest among the Lumia series. You can either choose a glossy appearance or the matte one. The glossy Lumia 720 has white and red colors whole the matte version has black and blue. Both versions are very elegant and comfortable to handle. The design has curve edges making it easy to grip like the Nokia N9. The life of the battery is amazing compared to the other Lumia versions which get easily drained. The map application which is exclusive to Nokia is more flexible.

 

Cons

The 512 RAM is not compatible with other applications. Another downside is no FM radio. Aside from that, there is no file manager so you can’t manage your files properly or access them easily. Although the Nokia HERE map applications is good, it is useless when you are travelling as it can only be used in the country where it was made.

 

Warranty

With your receipt as your proof of purchase, you are guaranteed of 1 year warranty for your phone and its accessories, 6 months for the batteries and other fragile accessories and 3 months for the software. Make sure that when claiming the warranty you have the proof of purchase with you plus the unit otherwise, it can void the Limited Warranty that Nokia offers.
