Pros

The Lexmark Impact S315 is a slight upgrade from the Lexmark Impact S305 in terms of its software and firmware installed. It is capable of printing documents directly from your iPhone and Android phone. In addition, it also is capable of connecting to the internet through a built in 801.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. Lastly, it also has a USB port that allows you to connect to a personal computer.

 

When printing graphics, it will be able to accommodate any form of media. So, you do not have to worry what kind of paper you are going to use. The flatbed installed in the Lexmark Impact S315 also protects the documents that pass through your multiple function printers. By acting as a catch basin of the documents, it will avoid flying away, which increases the possibility of getting it damaged.

 

Cons

There may be only two drawbacks that can be seen with the Lexmark S315 - not being able to support a memory card and the lack the fax capability. The memory card option can act as a precautionary measure in case the document is saved in a memory card. The fax capability will provide more options with regards to sending documents.

 

Conclusion

The Lexmark Impact S315 is already a good option for a multiple function printer. Capable of handling a maximum of 7.000 pages per month, and having the flatbed assures you that nothing bad will happen to the document. Though the limitation it has with regards to the supported storage space and the lack of fax capabilities may be a drawback, which can be addressed in future versions.
