HP Pavilion 13 X2
Purchasing the new HP Pavilion 13 X2 can be a good way of getting double value for your money. Like many other convertible or detachable tablets, the HP Pavilion 13 X2 gives the user the opportunity of enjoying the boons that comes with using both a notebook and a tablet.
In the most basic form HP Pavilion 13 X2 is a tablet. However since tablets do not quite help much when typing is required, HP has made sure to include a dockable keyboard to increase the level of satisfaction of their customers. More interestingly, the keyboard comes with an additional integrated battery so that when combined with the tablet, users can enjoy longer battery hours.
This tablet uses the Windows 8 Operating System and has a full HD touchscreen to ensure peak interaction between users and their apps or programs. As if to top it all, buyers are offered an extra storage of up to 500GB just to make sure that the tablet provides enough room for personal data and programs.
Design
HP Pavilion 13 X2 is a 2-in-1 pc with a detachable tablet design. Depending on the needs of the user, it can be turned to take on the form of a notebook or a tablet. Whenever you want to use it as a tablet, all you need to do is detach the keyboard and you can attach it back to the screen if you would like to use the keyboard for some typing in notebook mode.
The tablet is mainly colored black and silver creating beautiful aesthetics that are attracting to the eye. The premium exterior coating with rounded edges generally makes it look good. However since it is made from a plastic material and not the usual aluminum, it to some extent looks somewhat tacky.
HP Pavilion 13 X2 is a larger version of the Pavilion 11 X2. Therefore while the latter has an 11 inch screen, HP Pavilion 13 X2 comes with a 13.3 inch full HD 1080p touchscreen that is impressively responsive and easy to use. When in notebook mode it may appear a little bulky but you will still find it totally lightweight on your hands hence easy to move around with.
The keyboard is wide enough with a large touchpad and a roomy palmrest. Its keyboard is matte black and is quite comfortable to use for typing. HP Pavilion 13 X2 has 2 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, an SD card slot at the base of the keyboard and at the bottom of the tablet there is a microSD card slot.
