But the overall small body of this laptop should not make its sturdiness be overlooked. While this is not necessarily a rugged model, the laptop has been made using a strong magnesium body that makes it well equipped to take some rough hits without being damaged.

 

HP EliteBook 2170p has a silver lid and an 11.6 inch screen display with webcam features. The keyboard has well spaced spill resistant keys and is also properly backlit to allow for effective dim light typing. You might however find the touchpad a bit overcrowded because it has 2 sets of dedicated click buttons both at the top and lower side.

 

Immediately below the arrow keys you’ll find the finger print reader. The laptop’s underside is made of matte-black plastic. Ports that can be found on the left side include the mic jack, a smartcard slot, Display Port and USB 3.0 port. Pros

HP EliteBook 2170p is both lightweight and super portable so it is one of the best notebooks to purchase if you are a person who is always on the go. The laptop has a comparably fast booting time and a finger print reader as well.

Albeit the battery life of HP EliteBook 2170p is not really hands-down impressive, it is still above average which is quite something for a laptop of its class.

 

Cons

There is no HDMI and the touchpad is to cramped up for convenient use. There are no extended battery options, which is somewhat disadvantageous especially because the battery life of this model is not that outstanding.
