Dell Inspiron 15R is a 15 inch laptop that has a great outlook and only goes at an affordable price. It is the latest desktop replacement device from dell. It has been well equipped with Intel i3 and i5. It is market friendly making it a good choice for the masses. The latest version of Dell Inspiron 15R features Intel’s Core Processors and a choice of very powerful graphics for gaming all wrapped up at a very reasonable price.

Design

 

Compared to past models Dell Inspiron 15R gives a sleeker and clean look. The screen has been built with a hinge forward that makes it easy for the user to move the screen closer and brig the action to themselves. The outside appearance is very stylish with a faux-metal screen cover; the construction quality is great with a durable plastic and a strong chassis.

 

The thinner chassis always resist flex even when lifted room its corners the palmrest and the keyboard are both under good support and do not sag even when under intense pressure. The screen cover provides adequate protection to the liquid crystal display (LCD) not forgetting that the laptop has a switchable lid which can be replaced at any time you want.

 

One benefit of using the switch able lid id that the laptops screen is well protected from any exterior pressure. Any user who desires to upgrade the RAM inside this laptop will find it quite easy as you can easily remove and replace the systems memory. The only problem is that you must completely disable the chassis for you to access the hard drive.

 

Ports and Features

 

There are plenty of inputs with one SATA USB connection, 3 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, audio jacks and Ethernet, A SDHC card reader and a CD/DVD optical drive. Dell Inspiron 15R has unique Intel wireless display feature which transmits720p video resolution over a distance to the receiver that attaches to the HDTV. This technology allows you to enjoy fantastic movies without having to trip over wires at your home.

 

 On the rear you will find Kensington lock port, VGA power jack, Ethernet and USB 3.0.

On the left side it has: A media card slot, SATA combo port, HDMI out and one USB 2.0

On the right side it has: USB 3.0 ports, audio jacks and an optical drive.
