Dell Inspiron 13z looks elegant with simple features. The good thing with it is that it does not attempt to meet all your standards but instead opts to consistently perform exceptionally well in all your projects. The presentable and clean chassis will not turn heads and the processor will always stand out as the best. Dell Inspiron 13z has a comfortable touch pad and keyboard that makes t easy for the user to navigate the windows 8.

 

Design

 

Dell inspiron 13z provides a simple and basic aesthetic with a mix of aluminum and plastic in its chasis. The keyboard frame and the faceplate produce an enjoyable glare by reflecting light after adorning a linear texture. Both plates are made of plastic and only leave considerate impression when contact is made as they are resistant to fingerprints. Its chassis measures 13.7 inchx9.05 inches 0.82 inches and only weighs 3.81 lbs, it may not be the sturdiest device but the rounded chassis makes it more comfortable and easy to move from one place to another. Durability should be out of question as the laptop is durable even though it has been built with both metal and plastic.

 

Ports and features

 

Dell inspiron 13z provides essential ports to the user although the cramped design makes it pretty hard for any user to access multiple ports at a single time. The right side provides a mic jack, a USB 3.0 port’s card slot and an Ethernet port while the left side provides an HDMI port, 2 USB 3.0 ports and a power jack. The major problem with the ports is the covers. Initially the covers are made so as to protect the ports but most users are pissed by their intrusion as they diminish the utility of the ports.

 

Screen and speakers

 

Dell inspiron 13z has a 13.3 inch screen with a 1366x768 display. Although the resolution has nothing to offer the display provides clear images with solid color contrast which makes it enjoyable even when you are watching a movie or viewing images. The greatest thing about the display is its functionality as you can view images from all angles.

 

The only limitation is the speakers which is the weakest point in the system. Regardless of where the system has been placed sound always appears to emanate upwards from the bottom of the laptop. Sound is most stable at 50% but deteriorates when this percentage is exceeded.
