Canon PowerShot Elph 330 HS is another family to the Canon Powershot.  It has an upgraded Wi-Fi connectivity for easier set up and use. It has increased it optical zoom to 10x compared to the previous model of 8x. This new digital camera has 3 different shades you can choose from silver, black and pink.

Design

This new point and shot camera which is an upgrade of the 320 HS does not have a lot of differences from its previous model.  Canon PowerShot Elph 330 HS has the same plastic material as the other Cannon cameras, however, the Canon logo was raised a little higher so the shooter can have a nice grip to the camera.

The rear portion is where you can find the 4-way directional pad where you can see the different functions. It also has the playback button, central OK button, video record button and the menu key. Canon has strategically changed the mode switch to where the thumb would naturally rest so you can easily switch automatic and program auto modes.

If you have used the Canon Powershot before, this would be very easy for you to handle.

Pros

Canon PowerShot Elph 330 HS is a compact yet slim designed digital camera with excellent ISO and speedy performance. Its sharp lens with 10x zoom makes good quality pictures. It also has Wi-Fi connectivity with smartphones so you can easily download photos online. The unit also comes with an external battery charger.

Cons

This digital camera is not advisable for first time shooters because the navigation of the Menu is quite confusing and difficult to manage. Although it has Wi-Fi connectivity, the set up is such a bother. It will really test your patience. If you have successfully set up the Wi-Fi connection, which would be a great advantage for you but the process is such a pain in the neck. Due to the small lens, the video is not as good as other Canon cameras.

Warranty

Canon PowerShot Elph 330 HS limited warranty only covers 1 year for labor and parts from the date the product was purchased. The exchange or replacement of the product will not extend past its original warranty period. If in case there are offers for an extended warranty from the place you have purchased the product, Cannon is not bounded by that warranty.

Conclusion

If you are a fan of the Canon Powershot and simply want an upgraded one, Canon PowerShot Elph 330 HS is the one you are looking for. This camera is a good replacement for the older Powershot model. The newer version is slimmer, handy and has a 10x optical zoom.
