Chocolate Chip Ginger Nuts

 

Bored and nothing to do? Try baking Chocolate Chip Ginger Nuts, not only it is interesting to the palate; it is also interesting to bake. Preparation time is just 10 minutes while baking would only take around 20 minutes. So you still have a lot of time to think of another recipe to cook.

 

Ingredients

50 grams of chocolate that is the dark type and sliced into little portions

1 teaspoon of ginger that has been grounded

110 grams of flour

10 grams of store bought Cocoa

1 teaspoon of baking soda

50 grams of butter sliced into small squares

40 grams brown sugar

50 grams brown syrup

 

Procedure

 

Heat the oven up to 180 degrees Celsius before mixing the ingredients.

Get a bowl and start straining together the dry ingredients like 110 grams of flour, 10 grams of Cocoa, 1 teaspoon of grounded ginger and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Mix all these ingredients until they are well incorporated.

 

You can use your hands when mixing the ingredients to make sure that it is properly combined. Add the 50 grams of sliced butter while you continue incorporating the butter to the mixture. Once it looks like the crumbs of bread you are now ready to put the 40 grams of sugar and the sliced dark chocolates.

 

Blend the 50 grams of brown syrup and combine the mixture using a spatula or you can use any baking spoon like wooden or plastic spoon depending on your preference. You can end blending all the ingredients by compressing the dough with the use of your hands. Make 16 pieces and spin each piece like a piece of ball.

 

Get a tray that has a baking sheet on it or if there is no baking sheets available in your house; you can just spray oil to the tray so the cookies will not stick. Make sure that you have estimated enough space for each cookie. Since the cookie was shaped into a ball, even out the cookie when it is placed on the tray.

 

Place the tray in the center rack and bake it within 20 minutes. You can also use a toothpick to check if the cookie has been well cooked by inserting the toothpick into the cookie. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving or eating the delicious Chocolate

If you are a ginger fanatic, you can add a little more ginger to the recipe

It is a little difficult to bake this type of cake due to the brown syrup added to the mixture. Extra monitoring should be done to the timer of the oven to make sure that you do not over do your baking time.

 

This type of baking is not recommended for first timers as you might have a half baked cookie at the same time a wet one.

 

If you want a little kick of ginger when you bite the cookie you can sprinkle grounded ginger to the top of the cookies. You can use chocolate chips as a substitute to sliced chocolate if you prefer or you are lazy to cut chocolates.
