  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup boiling water

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Procedure

Before mixing the ingredients, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cover the 12-cup tube pan with cooking spray so the cake will not stick to the pan.

Combine the dry ingredients like the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

Using a large bowl, you will mix the condensed milk, , brown sugar, oil substitute, eggs and egg white. Mix well so they are well incorporated. Slowly add the flour mixture to the milk mixture just until it is moist. Gradually add the water and chips. Empty the batter to the tube pan.

 

Baking the Black Forest Chocolate Cake should take around 35 to 40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean with you insert it into the cake. Once it has been properly baked, cool it for 10 minutes. Remove the cake from the pan and top it with cherry.

 

Easy Black Forest Chocolate Cake

The easiest recipe that uses chocolate cake mix you can ever find.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 chocolate cake mix, 2-layer size

  • 2 cups whipping cream or heavy cream

  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoons Kirsch

  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling

  • 1 ounce shaved semisweet chocolate

 

Procedure

As you have purchased a ready mix chocolate cake, follow the package instructions when cooking it. You can make 2 round 9” layers for this mix.

Once you are done baking the cake per package instruction, make sure you have cooled it down thoroughly.

 

Using a small bowl beat carefully the cream, the confectioners’ sugar and vanilla until you can form stiff peaks.

 

Apply the tops of the cakes with Kirsch. Put one layer of the cake on a cake plate and place about ¾ cup of whipped cream to the cake. Place the half of the cherry pie filling and then place the other layer of the cake on top of it. The remaining whipped cream should be spread on the side of the cake. Spread the other cherry pie filling on top of the cake. Make sure that it is on the center.

 

You can pipe in the remaining cream around the Cherries. Shake over the whipped cream around the sides of the cake with the shaved semisweet chocolate cake.
